Please read these terms carefully before placing an order with Staffordshire Plates. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Staffordshire Plates is a registered number plate supplier based at 112 Springhill Road, Burntwood, WS7 4UH. We manufacture and supply custom vehicle number plates in accordance with UK law. Contact us at [email protected] or 07985 350 444.
2. Eligibility to Order
You must be 18 or over to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you are the registered keeper of the vehicle, or have the legal right to display the registration mark. We are legally required to verify your identity and entitlement before supplying road-legal plates. Orders cannot be fulfilled without valid proof of entitlement and proof of identity.
3. Legal Compliance
All road-legal plates are manufactured to BS AU 145e standards as required by the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001. It is your responsibility to ensure the registration mark you order is legally assigned to your vehicle. We reserve the right to refuse any order we believe may be fraudulent or in breach of DVLA regulations. Display-only plates are sold for show purposes only and must not be used on a public road.
4. Proof of Entitlement & Identity
For road-legal plates, you must provide a valid proof of entitlement (e.g. V5C logbook, new keeper slip, or retention certificate) and a valid proof of identity (e.g. driving licence or passport). We will review your documents before processing your order. If documents cannot be verified, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
6. Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders are processed once payment is confirmed and documents have been verified. We aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days of verification. Dispatch times may vary during busy periods. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is dispatched.
7. Cancellations & Returns
As number plates are custom-made to your specification, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once production has begun, unless the plates are faulty or do not match your confirmed order. If you wish to cancel before production begins, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Faulty or incorrect plates will be replaced at no charge — please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence.
8. Limitation of Liability
Staffordshire Plates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of your order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Staffordshire Plates and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or placing an order after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
